I heart TEXAS Dec 17 2010

So for part of my Christmas gift my friend Electra bought me a Texas shirt and a bumper sticker that says "someone in Texas loves me" i was so excited when i opened it :) Her box was so cute-all about time and how the best things in life are worth waiting for! Thank you again Electra for my gift! I absolutely loved it all...I took this picture to send to Nate in his birthday package! :D

Elder Schott's Christmas Texas Style! December 13, 2010

The tree in the photo has over 5,000 lights on it and the house in the other photo is a member that Elder Schott helped decorate-the guy had over 3,000 lights :O!!

Seattle Lights December 9, 2010

So tonight I went downtown with Carlye, Electra, and Tessa to check out the lights in Seattle. They had a huge tree that was beautifully decorated! But what caught our eye-the store that has the words "No, You're Weird" haha amazing! We had to pose in front of it :)

Seattle Temple December 7, 2010

Tonight the Institute got another opprotunity to go to the Seattle Temple to do baptisms for the dead! One of the many perks of going to UW is having a temple so close :) Our institute tries to go at least once a quarter and this quarter we got lucky and were able to go in November and December! I absolutely love it there-there is no place where I feel more at peace and feel the love of the Savior! Doing temple work at night is amazing as well-we are the only ones there and the temple workers are so helpful-I am so grateful for them :)

Seattle University November 10, 2010

Well tonight Electra and I went over to Seattle University to visit our good old friend Tessa :) Seattle University is pretty sweet-not as good as UW of course ;) Good times we had by all...I really liked Tessa's bed, she has made it like a couch and it was super comfy!

CES fireside with M. Russell Ballard November 7, 2010

Being at the Institute I am privileged to find out all about the messages that the first presidency and quorum of the twelve broadcasts. This weekend M. Russell Ballard aired a CES fireside so a bunch of us headed over to the Stake Center to watch it. It was an amazing talk, he discussed the basics of the gospel. He talked about going back to the simple things and not getting caught up with the world. It was a great reminder especially for myself, technology is fantastic but its nice to remember the little things in life :)

Turkey Bowl November 6, 2010

So guess what I did this weekend? I played at Husky Stadium-yup that's right! Right on the field-just like how the real football players do it!

The Young Single Adults have their annual turkey bowl and I got a chance to be on the team and play with people from my ward :)

Makeovers October 23, 2010

So what a better way to spend your Saturday night then doing makeovers-such girls we know lol. Well since I am the only one that knows how to do hair I was the one who was in charge of the makeovers. So Carole got her hair curled and Adrianna got it straightened (first time ever) and she looked adorable! So Sunday morning Adrianna came over and I straightened her hair again and curled Carole's and straightened my own too lol...

Tailgate/ UW Volleyball vs Arizona State October 22, 2010

Well again before anyone freaks out over the first part of the title-the Institute put on a tailgate party before we went to support one of our members who is on the UW Volleyball team :) The Tailgate was awesome-I hadn't had a hamburger in a while and it was DELICIOUS!

Electra and I made a creative design with the cookies and Carole got put in charge of organizing the table! The volleyball game was against Arizona State- UW kicked their butts :) It was a blast-my first UW event...I am excited for more to come!
