So what a better way to spend your Saturday night then doing makeovers-such girls we know lol. Well since I am the only one that knows how to do hair I was the one who was in charge of the makeovers. So Carole got her hair curled and Adrianna got it straightened (first time ever) and she looked adorable! So Sunday morning Adrianna came over and I straightened her hair again and curled Carole's and straightened my own too lol...
Well again before anyone freaks out over the first part of the title-the Institute put on a tailgate party before we went to support one of our members who is on the UW Volleyball team :) The Tailgate was awesome-I hadn't had a hamburger in a while and it was DELICIOUS!
So tonight for Family Home Evening we played Life Size Chess. Well first off I don't know how to play chess but I do know that there is a position called the bishop and I was so on it-yup that's right I was the Bishop ;)
So Carlye and I have WAY too much free time lol but we spend it wisely ;) After class today we decided to have a bubble blowing photo shoot-it was a pretty fun way to spend my afternoon! We got some really cool bubble photos too :)
One of the COOLEST things I have been able to experience while being at college is going with my roommate Carlye to visit her brother Michael at Google for lunch. Oh MY I think I want to change my career haha Google was INSANE! Okay flat screen televisions, a game room, nap rooms, its pet friendly, massage chairs, free concessions (yes i took advantage of that a few times lol) Oh and ya they get their lunches catered every day! OK before anyone freaks out that the title says "club 8" hear me out-our residence halls holds events so that all the residents can get to know one another. Seeing as it was the first week of school we had a full week of stuff, the friday just happened to be the "dance" which was held in the 8 (caferteria) so they called it "club 8"...but it was super lame but Carlye and I made the best of it-we had a fun!
Well seeing as it was the beginning of the school year it seemed only fitting to do an activity that was school related. Well we went totally old school (like back to kindergarten :P) and finger-painted! I made a butterfly out of leaves-can you tell?!?!
Well tonight as part of the DAWG DAZE we also got cheap tickets to the Mariner's Game so Carlye, Electra, and I decided to go....well the Mariner's were having an off night as you can see by the score (ended up losing 8-1 to the Oakland A's) BUT the company was great! We got bored at times (hence the shoes photo) but it was a pretty good night overall!
