Superbowl party

This year's superbowl party was awesome!  Fun to hang out with family and friends! The game was intense and sadly we lost. But great game Seahawks!

Sunday selfie

We went down to Lehi for the superbowl and we got to go to church with the Derbs. So here is a Sunday selfie with our niece and nephews!

Date night

Tonight we went to see the play Seven Brides for Seven Brothers at the Ellen Eccles theater.  It was super good! And after we went (with basically everyone else from the theater apparently lol) to Charlie's ice cream for milkshakes!

Nate passed the FE

Spoiler alert ;p

Nate went and took his 6 hour long Fundamentals of Engineering exam (aka FE) that he needed to pass in order to graduate.  It was super stressful and he was anxious about it. We are very excited to share that he passed it, so of course we went out to celebrate at Pizza Pie Cafe! Yummy pizza! Congrats babe!

Meeting the Tacoma News Tribune reporter

Today we got to meet up with a reporter passing on a road trip to the Super Bowl documenting all the fans of the Seahawks along the way! It was super awesome and we even got a space in the Tacoma News Tribune!  Check it out!

Seeing Tessa & Rachelle!

Two years is way too long to go without seeing these two! Thank goodness I only had to wait 18 months ;p I had the day off so I met up with Tessa who just got home from her mission in New Zealand and Rachelle who is living in Utah now. We were all friends in Seattle so it was super fun to meet up and have some girl time! Love these two!

Nate's fly tying class

This semester Nate is taking a fly tying class and is getting to learn all the different techniques to making them. He is enjoying it! I love watching him get excited over it and sharing with me all about the process and I pretend like I understand haha! Can't wait to see how this semester goes!

Nate's dinner pick!

So not only did Nate pick out dinner for tonight but he also took charge and made it! I'm a fan ;) We had some hamburger that we needed to cook earlier this weekend so we just made it into ground beef. Nate looked up some ideas on pinterest and found this recipe and it turned out we had everything (always a plus) and he made it! It turned out so good! Thanks Nate for getting creative! Enjoy!

Nate's birthday

Tonight we went over to Lena's and got to celebrate a bit early with Lena, Breanna, Katherine, and Elizabeth! Such a fun evening, especially after feeling sick for the past few days! We did burgers and brownies- two of Nate's favorite things! Nate scored a sweet Seahawks jersey, some of his favorite candy, & a deep fryer that he is stoked about! Love getting to hang out with family!

Ringing in the new year!

Goodbye 2014. Hello 2015! Tonight we celebrated the end of 2014 with Candace and Jeremy as we played Uno! It was super fun listening to the top hits of 2014 as we sipped on hot coco! Nate got all super crafty with homemade hot coco which was delicious! Then we watched tv as the ball dropped! Then I got to kiss my sweetheart as 2015 hit! Hope you all sent the last day of 2014 out with a bang!
